Dr. Timothy Pigg
Lead Pastor

Timothy Pigg has served as the lead pastor of Fellowship Church, with campuses in Immokalee and Ave Maria in southwest Florida, since May 2015. His work and ministry has allowed him to serve in many local church contexts over the last 14 years. This has birthed in Timothy a love for the local church, ecclesiology, and text-driven preaching and practice.
A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Timothy had the incredible privilege of growing up under the expositional preaching of Dr. Jerry Vines and attending the yearly Jacksonville Pastor's Conference. Timothy moved to Texas and studied under Dr. Paige Patterson at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth for seven years, earning a Bachelor’s of Arts in Humanities (2013), a Master of Divinity (2015), and a Doctorate in Ministry (2020). While at Southwestern, Timothy served as an assistant under Dr. Waylan Owens in the School of Education. Timothy also served on staff in several local churches in North Texas.

In 2020, Timothy joined together with several pastors and laymen throughout the Southern Baptist Convention to launch the Conservative Baptist Network—a group focused on maintaining a longstanding, convention-wide commitment to the inerrancy and sufficiency of Scripture. After four years serving on the Steering Council and as the State Chapter Coordinator, Timothy now serves as the Director of the Conservative Baptist Network.
Over the years, Timothy has served as a Church Planting Trainer with the North American Mission Board, the Board of Missions at the Florida Baptist Convention, the Board of Trustees for Montana Christian College in Kalispell, Montana, and help launch a Church Relations Team for his local Baptist association. Currently, he serves as an Adjunct Professor of Applied Theology for Northeastern Baptist College in Bennington, Vermont and the Baptist University of Florida in Graceville, Florida.
In 2021, Timothy launched the Text-Driven Podcast, dedicated to equipping believers to know God and make Him known through text-driven preaching and practice. After seeing the desperate need for doctrinally faithful and distinctly Baptist resources for believers and local churches, Text-Driven Ministries was founded as a non-profit organization led by Timothy and his wife, Jessica. Text-Driven Ministries publishes two weekly podcasts (Text-Driven Podcast and Text-Driven Women Podcast), articles, Institute courses, and Bible studies.

In December 2022, Timothy partnered with Northeastern Baptist Press to publish his first book, The Local Church Matters. In October 2025, Timothy partnered with Thomas Nelson to contribute a series of devotionals for Title of book.
