This Sunday, July 7th, is Promotion Sunday! Promotion Sunday is a time when children transition to a new class based on their age. As a church, this is a time of celebration because we get to praise God that our FC KIDS are growing physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Children who are transitioning to Pre-K (typically age four) in school this August, will transition to our Preschool level classes at both campuses. So, if your child has been in Nursery, but will be attending Pre-K beginning this Fall, they should start attending the Preschool class we provide this Sunday.
FC KIDS (1st-5th grade)
Children who are transitioning to 1st Grade (typically age 6) in school this August, will transition to the older FC Kids Small Group class and will be allowed to attend Children's Church during the Worship Service.
FC Students (6th-12th grade)
Students who are transitioning to middle school this Fall would begin to attend our Student Small Group class and Adult Worship Services to worship with the rest of the congregation. Student Small Group classes meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30am (Immokalee) and Wednesday nights at 6:30pm (Immokalee and Ave Maria).
Our Ave Maria Campus provides a Preschool - Kindergarten age class and a FC KIDS class for grades 1st - 5th during both Worship Service times (9:00am and 5:00pm). On Wednesday nights at 6:30pm, we also offer Preschool, FC KIDS, and FC Students classes as well.
Our Immokalee Campus provides a Nursery (newborn-2), Preschool - Kindergarten age class, a FC KIDS class for grades 1st - 5th, and a FC Students class during Small Group at 9:30am. On Sunday mornings at 10:45am, FC KIDS Church is offered during the Worship Service for children 1st - 5th grade. All FC Students attend Adult Worship Service. On Wednesday nights at 6:30pm, we also provide Nursery, Preschool, FC KIDS, and FC Students classes.
*Note - At our Immokalee Campus we would like to separate FC Kids by age for FC KIDS Church but we need more volunteers to teach and support during that time. If you are interested please contact Armando Yzaguirre Jr. or Alyssa Yzaguirre.
Also, we know how hard these transitions can be on you and your child. If you have any questions or concerns about your child during this transition, please contact Armando Yzaguirre Jr. and we would love to work with your family on how best to assist you during this time.
